Athletes complete four 400m runs and three bodyweight exercise stations as quickly as possible. Men complete 40 push-ups, 40 sit-ups and 40 squats, while women complete 30 repetitions of each movement.

STEP 1 – HEAT BATTLES
All athletes start in Qualification Heats consisting of approximately 10–25 athletes.Men and women compete in separate heats.Each heat uses a mass-start format.Your official finish time determines your ranking and your qualification for the National Showdown.Every second counts.
STEP 2 – NATIONAL SHOWDOWN
The fastest athletes advance to the National Showdown, which takes place later on the same event day.Qualification is determined as follows:All Qualification Heat winners automatically qualify.Additional places are awarded to the fastest athletes across all heats.The National Showdown determines the official event winners and rankings.The top 12 women and top 12 men qualify for the International Final in Bangkok on October 18, 2026.
STEP 3 – INTERNATIONAL FINAL

One of the things that makes Red Bull Power Race unique is its simplicity. Built around fundamental human movement, the race uses familiar exercises and running, so there are no complicated techniques to learn or specialist equipment to master.
Just bring suitable training clothes, running shoes and the determination to give it your best effort. The only thing you'll need on race day is your ability to perform under pressure and keep moving!

How should I prepare
How should I prepare
Regular running and bodyweight training will help you get the most from the experience. Focus on building endurance, strength and consistency in the weeks leading up to race day. Practising running alongside push-ups, sit-ups and squats can help you prepare for the demands of the race.

Comfortable training clothes and running shoes are required. Choose clothing that allows you to move freely throughout the course and be prepared for both running and bodyweight exercises.
Suitable running shoes are required. Spiked shoes and unsafe footwear are not permitted.

All participants will receive an official race time based on their performance across the full course.

Absolutely. Red Bull Power Race is designed to be enjoyed both on and off the course. Can I stop and rest during the race?
Can I stop and rest during the race?
Yes. Athletes may pause or rest at any point during an exercise station. In fact, pacing and strategy can play an important role in your performance. Some athletes may choose to break exercises into smaller sets to manage fatigue and maintain good movement quality.
However, the race clock never stops. Every second spent resting is added to your final time, so finding the right balance between speed, pacing and recovery is part of the challenge!

Headphones, earphones and similar audio devices are not permitted during the race. Part of the Red Bull Power Race experience is being fully immersed in the atmosphere, hearing the countdown, the crowd, the encouragement from fellow athletes and the energy of race day as it unfolds around you.
Athletes must also be able to hear important announcements, safety instructions and directions from race officials at all times.

Most importantly, bring a positive attitude and be ready to challenge yourself.

Only repetitions that meet the official movement standards will count. If a repetition does not meet the required standard, athletes must complete an additional repetition before continuing.

Athletes must complete the full course and all race segments in the correct order. Missing part of the course or failing to complete a race segment may result in disqualification.

Yes. Every athlete receives an official race time. Whether you're chasing a personal best, competing with friends or aiming for a place in the National Showdown, every second counts.

Do I need to wear a race bib?
Yes. All athletes must wear their official race bib and timing chip during the competition. Your race bib must be worn on the front of your shirt and remain clearly visible throughout the competition.
