What is Red Bull Power Race?

Red Bull Power Race is a brand new fast-paced fitness race built around speed, strategy and simple bodyweight movements. Red Bull Power Race rewards more than just fitness. Success comes from pacing, composure and the ability to perform under pressure when fatigue starts to build. Open to everyday athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike, it's a chance to test yourself, experience the energy of race day and discover what you're capable of alongside a community of like-minded competitors. Compete in Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Yangon or Bangkok for the opportunity to qualify for the Red Bull Power Race International Final in Bangkok!

Race Format

Competitors must complete the full course in the correct order as fast as possible. Athletes complete four 400m runs and three bodyweight exercise stations as quickly as possible. Men complete 40 push-ups, 40 sit-ups and 40 squats, while women complete 30 repetitions of each movement. Competitors must complete the full course in the correct order as fast as possible. Only repetitions that meet the movement standard will be counted by judges. Athletes must complete all required repetitions before they can continue to the next stage of the race. The challenge comes from deciding how to pace your effort, manage fatigue and perform under pressure when every second counts.Start too fast and you may pay for it later. Hold too much back and you risk losing valuable time. Success isn't just about fitness. It's about making smart decisions, staying composed and having enough power to make the finish line. Need a moment to recover? Athletes can pause at any point during the exercise stations, but the race clock never stops!

Red Bull Power Race is built around simple, fundamental movements. The challenge is performing them correctly when the pressure is on. Learn the standards and understand what judges will be looking for on race day. Every rep counts.

The Qualification Journey

All athletes begin in the qualification heats at their local Red Bull Power Race event. Participants compete in separate men's and women's heats, with approximately 10–25 athletes per heat. The fastest athletes from each heat progress to the National Showdown, where they compete against the best performers from across the event.

The National Showdown determines the athletes who will represent their country at the Red Bull Power Race International Final in Bangkok. The top 12 men and top 12 women from each national event will earn their place at the Final.

The International Final brings together the top athletes from across Southeast Asia to compete for the title of Red Bull Power Race International Champion. The top 12 men and top 12 women from each National Event will qualify for the Red Bull Power Race International Final in Bangkok on 18 October. Qualified athletes will receive: Return flights Hotel accommodation Event entry This is your opportunity to represent your country and compete against the best Red Bull Power Race athletes from across Southeast Asia!
